What We Believe

The Bible and Marriage
God's design for Music
Creation & Bible Versions

1. The Bible in its original form is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It has been miraculously preserved by God as the written revelation of Himself to man. It is absolute in its authority, complete in its revelation, final in its content, and without any errors in its statements. (2 Tim. 3:16, Jo. 10:35, Ps. 89:34; Heb. 6: 16; 2 Pet. 3:16)

2. There is one God Who is eternally existent and Creator of the heaven and earth; He created the universe in six successive, literal 24-hour days and rested on the seventh day as is described in Genesis. He is manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1; Ex. 20:11; 31:17; Deut. 6:4, Is. 7:14; Is. 9:6; Jo. 14:9;1 Ti. 3:36; 1 Jo. 5:7)

3. The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God who through the virgin Mary took on flesh and dwelt on earth. He was sinlessly perfect and gave Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice by shedding His blood and dying on a cross. He then arose from the dead on the third day. This was to pay for all sins (past, present and future) for all who believe. (II Co. 5:21; Heb. 2:9; Tit. 2: 14; Heb. 10:10-13; Heb. 9:12-28; Ac. 13:38-41; I Pet. 2:24; I Jo. 3:5)

4. God is absolutely sovereign, and in His sovereignty gave man a free will to accept or reject the salvation that He has provided. It is God's will that all would be saved, and that none should perish. God permits man's destiny to depend upon his choice. (1 Ti. 2:4; II Th. 2:13; 1 Pet. 1:2; II Pet. 3:9: Jo. 6:64-65; Ro. 8:29-30; Ac. 10:34)

5. Each member of the human race is fallen, sinful, and lost, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation. The moment a person receives Christ as his Savior the Holy Spirit immediately indwells the believer who is then sealed until the day of Redemption. (Ro. 3:34; 8:9; Jo. 3:7; 1 Co. 6:19; Eph. 1:13-14; Tit. 3:5)

6. Man can be saved by grace through faith and nothing of man enters into salvation; it is a free gift. Man's efforts, regardless of how good or well-intended before or after salvation, have nothing to do with it. Salvation is by the finished work of Christ, and nothing can be added to it. (Eph. 2:8-9; Gal. 2:16; Rom. 11:6; Col. 2:13; Tit. 3:5; Ro.3:22)

7. Every true child of God possesses eternal life, being justified by faith, sanctified by God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, is safe and secure for all eternity, and cannot lose his salvation. However, a Christian can, through sin, lose his fellowship, joy, power, testimony, and reward, and incur the Father's chastisement. Relationship is eternal being established by the new birth; fellowship, however, is dependent upon obedience. (I Co. 3:11-17; 5:1-5; 11:30-32; Heb. 12:5, 11)

8. A true child of God has two births; one of the flesh, the other of the Spirit, giving man a flesh nature and a Spirit nature. The flesh nature is neither good nor righteous, and the Spirit does not commit sin. This results in a conflict between the Spirit and the flesh, which continues until physical death, or until the return of the Lord. The fleshly nature of man does not change with the new birth, but can be controlled and kept subdued by the new man. (John 3:3-7; Rom. 7:15-25; 8:8; Gal. 5:17; 1 Jo. 3:9; 1 Pet. 1:23; 1 Jo. 5:18; 1:8)

9. A Christian should live righteously and maintain godly works, not as a means of salvation, but as the proper evidence and fruit of salvation. (Eph. 2:10; Tit. 3:6)

10. There will be a resurrection of the saved and a resurrection of the lost. The resurrection of the saved will be unto eternal life, and the resurrection of the lost will be unto an eternal, conscious punishment in hell. These two resurrections are separated by at least 1,000 years. (Dan. 12:2; 1 Th. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:5-16; Matt. 25:41)

11. We believe in the personal, pretribulational, and premillenial return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; His pretribulational return in the air for the Church and His premillenial return to the earth to set up His Kingdom. (1 Th. 5:9-11; 2 Th. 1:10; 2:1-8; Rev. 3:10; Tit. 2:13; Is. 26:19-21; Rev. 4:1)

12. Satan is a person, the author of sin, and he and his angels shall be eternally punished. (Ezek. 28:13-17; Is. 14:12-15; Rev. 20:10; Matt. 25:41)

13. God can heal, but physical healing is not guaranteed because we are saved. God heals miraculously when it is His perfect will to do so. Healing cannot be claimed through salvation. At times it is God's will for sickness not to be removed. Physical healing will be culminated in the redemption of our bodies. (Rom. 8:23; 2 Co. 12:7-19; Jam. 5:14-16; 1 Jo. 3:2)

14. The gift of tongues (languages) was a manifestation of the Spirit's power for the demonstration of God's wisdom, purpose and power in the establishment of the early Church; and always was in a language that was in use. The modern-day charismatic tongues movement is unscriptural. (Ac. 2:6; 1 Co. 14:33; 13:8)

15. A true child of God is not under the law, but under grace. He is both saved by grace and disciplined by grace. (Rom. 6:14-15; 11:6; 2 Co. 13:8)

16. It is every Christian's privilege and duty to make clear God's plan of salvation to others wherever they may be. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; 1 Th. 2:4)

17. We believe in the separation of church and state and that God is supreme over both. God is the highest Power, and human government has no power except as God's minister of justice to reward the good and punish the evil. We further believe that the state has no God-given authority to oversee church ministry. (Matt. 22:17; Ac 5:29; Ro. 12:1-7; Lu 20:24)

18. We believe in the priesthood of all believers. Christ is out Great High Priest and through Him every born-again person has direct access into God's presence without the need of a human priest. The believer has the right and the responsibility to personally study and interpret the Scriptures guided by the Holy Spirit. (Rev. 1:6; Heb. 4:14-16; 1 Tim. 2:5; 2 Tim. 2:15)

19. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and that He alone is the Head of the Body of Christ, into which all true believers are immediately baptized by the Holy Spirit- that all members of this one spiritual body should assemble and identify themselves in local churches. (Ac. 2:36; Col. 1: 18; 1 Co. 12: 13; Heb. 10:25; 1 Tim. 5:9)

20. We believe in the importance of local churches and that they are assemblies of born again, baptized believers united in organization to practice New Testament ordinances, to meet together for worship, prayer, fellowship, edification, and a united testimony, and to actively engage in carrying out the Great Commission. (Matt. 16:18; 28:19-20; Ac. 13:1-3; 15:4; I Co. 11:2; 2 Co. 5:19-20; Eph. 4:11)

21. We believe in the independence and the autonomy of local churches, and that no religious hierarchy has scriptural grounds to determine the affairs of local churches. (Ac. 12:1-3)

22. We believe the ordinances given to local churches are two: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism is by immersion for believers, thus portraying the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Lord's Supper is the partaking of the bread and cup by the believer as a continual memorial of the broken body and shed blood of Christ until He returns. (Rom. 6:34; 1 Co. 11:2, 23-26)

23. We believe that to the Christian all things are sacred and nothing is "secular." ( I Co. 10:31)

24. We believe that the marriage covenant was established by God for one man and one woman and is a solemn, sacred promise for life. Divorce corrupts the spiritual picture of oneness that is intended by marriage, and God hates it ("putting away"). (Gen. 2:24; Mal. 2:16; Mt. 19:7; Mk. 10:7 Eph. 5:21-33)

25. We believe that children are an heritage of the Lord and that God has given parents the responsibility to rear their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Parents are required by God to diligently teach their children the Word of God and provide for them a Christian education consistent with the beliefs and teaching of the faith. (Deut. 6:6-7; Pr. 22:6; 19:27; Eph. 6:4)

26.  “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers…” (2 Corinthians 6:14)

While all are in need of the message of the truth of the Creator, and the knowledge that exposes the lies of the evolutionary worldview, the same God Who made all things and gave His Revelation to men has expressed His design for believers to conduct their lives separated from all ‎influences that tend to turn them from Him, or which hinder their growth and stability, or which ‎bring reproach on Him in any way (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; James 4:4-6; 1 John 2:15-17; Jude 3-4).‎  Therefore, we believe that believers must live a holy life, a life which accurately represents the holiness of God as He has ‎revealed Himself in the Scriptures,‎ avoiding all activities, appearances, and associations ‎which indicate, or tend to indicate, agreement with or acceptance of perspectives that are ‎contrary to His design (Matthew 5:29-30; Romans 12:1-2; 13:11-14; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Colossians 3:1-4; 4:5-6; Titus 2:11-12; ‎Revelation 3:4)‎.

Therefore, Creation Family Ministries repudiates all practices, belief ‎systems, and theological perspectives, regardless of their name or religious association, which ‎in any way tend to exalt human reasoning or sensory perception above the Scripture, or which in ‎any way tend to contradict or supersede the Scripture or its authority.

Such perspectives include, but are not limited to, the ecumenical mindset that joins religious ‎groups and entities together regardless of doctrine or practice, the emphasis on sovereignty that ‎tends to see God as the author of all that happens, even violations of His design, and the undue ‎focus on sensory perception that tends to place more importance on experience than on the ‎Word of God.
